Your Ultimate Fall Must Have Dress with Banana Republic

dress: c/o Banana Republic / sandals : Ivanka Trump similar here / belt : Banana Republic (sold out) other option here/ bag: Furla /

earrings: Swarovski / bracelet : Kate Spade

Since fall is already here, i love to talk about one my favorite topics and that is the must have dresses for fall. I’m partnering with Banana Republic in this campaign and i’m super excited because as a self-confessed girly girl i love wearing dresses. Even when the weather is a little chilly as long as it’s bearable, i wear a dress. I only wear jeans or pants during winter season. It’s because i’m super petite ( 5 ft) and i looked taller in dresses rather than jeans. Also dresses are easier to wear and to style. Everybody have their own preference and style of dressing, but that is just me. So today, i’m going to talk about my two favorite dress trend this fall.

    Transitioning To Fall Outfit

On April   skirt // sweater // mules // sunglasses // hat // bag  no longer available in black but other options here and here

On Olivia  dress // shoes similar here

What i love most about fall in terms of fashion are the colors. I love the combination of rustic colors like burnt orange, maroon, mustard, olive green and brown. You will see a lot of those colors on my upcoming style post this fall. For this season’s trend, i love ruffles, bell sleeves and block heels. I also have an eye on the Chloe Nile Saddle bag. But unfortunately that’s out my budget right now, but i love the style. I’ve seen a lot of it on New York Fashion Week.

I also noticed that this coming season’s trend is an opposite of last year’s minimalist style. It’s what they call the maximalist. It’s focus on the bold details like ruffles, statement sleeves, bold prints, punchy colors and the eye catching statement tassel or hoop earrings. I always love those big statement earrings that is trending right now, it is so fun and cute. I love to look at other bloggers wearing it but i couldn’t bring myself to wear them  a lot. I think i only wore them twice on here and here. It is something that i need to get used to.

So it really depends on what personal style you have. My style is pretty much modest and girly.

I am obsessed on matching looks with my mini. I know it won’t be long that she don’t want to wear matching outfits with me anymore. As of  now Olivia loves it when we matched, so i’m soaking in every moment of it. If you are a girl mom and you want to do some matching looks time to time with your daughter or if you have a Fall photo shoot coming up, check out these matching looks i picked for you. Most of them can be purchase in one store like the Flower Power look, most of the items are from Old Navy. The Minimalist look  are from Gap. The Wild Safari are from J.Crew. There are a couple of items that are from different brands like the Madewell drawstring bag and Tory Burch leopard flats but most of them are all in one store. So it’s easier to shop and it saves you a lot of time. When you are a mom, time is gold. Let me know what you think of the Outfit Themes i picked for you and which one is your favorite?

    Trend I love: Millenial Pink

Okay, summer is really about to end and everybody are already flaunting their fall collections. But i just want to squeeze in one of my summer looks. One of my favorite trend this summer is what they call millenial pink or i call it baby pink but i think millenial pink is kind of a cool name. It makes me feel young again lol. If you are a romper fan like me, then this outfit is such a cute and easy look for labor day with the exception of your trip to the bathroom. They should put a clip ons like my kids infant onesies so it’s easier to manage my bathroom trips. I wonder what it would feel or look like, probably weird and silly. Actually, Olivia told me while we were taking pictures that this was her favorite looks of me and her because it’s pink. Her favorite is purple but she also loves pink. So that means we will be wearing a lot of pink outfits for fall. I’m not quite sure about that but we will see maybe i can find some cute and fun inspirations from Pinterest.

Well,  whatever you guys are planning for labor day either a pool party, a trip to the beach, sight seeing or just chilling at home binge watching your shows, just enjoy your  last days of summer because these beautiful summer weather is not going to last long. Go out, have fun and enjoy the company of your love ones.

April’s outfit:  romper: Revolve but cheaper at Zappos // straw tote bag: Gap (sold out) other option here // sunglasses: Celine // sandals: J.Crew factory

    Off the Shoulder Season

    April’s Outfit :  skirt: H&M similar here // top: c/o Zan.Style // bag: Salvatore Ferragamo // shoes: J.Crew Factory // bracelet: Kendra Scott

Olivia’s Outfit : shorts: Janie and Jack // top: Target // shoes: Melissa Shoes

This spring and summer is definitely the season of off-the-shoulders. It’s like a continuation of last year’s off-the-shoulder trend. I wonder if it’s still going to be popular next year ? We will see. But i have to say it is my favorite trend because it is feminine, sexy and conservative at the same time. This top from Zan. Style is so lightweight and easy to wear. The fabric is also not sheer nor see through, it is a good quality. That is definitely a must for me when it comes to clothing. Gone are those days where i used to buy a lot of cheap and not good quality clothes as long as they were trendy. I don’t do that anymore because they get worn out so easy and you end up spending more. This doesn’t mean to say i don’t buy cheap clothes anymore, i still do but i wanna make sure that it is something that i can wear many times. I am all for capsule wardrobe right now. If you noticed on my blog and Instagram, i repeat some of my items and just mixed and matched them with what i have in my closet. It makes me feel good that way. I want to look good but i don’t want to  consume myself  with the idea of trying to be super perfect because in reality nobody is perfect. We all have flaws and insecurities, we just have to work hard on what we want to improve but also not beat ourselves up. It’s really all about balance.
