    Game Night with Blue Apron

They said a way to a man’s heart is through his stomach. So for the big game during last Sunday’s Superbowl, I made my husband the Blue Apron’s Burgers and Red Cabbage Slaw for dinner. For the kids I made them Macaroni and Cheese. For some reason, my kids are not into hamburgers yet but they might be one day because their dad loves hamburgers. On the other hand, I am not into hamburgers either but I have to say, I love

    Christmas 2016 Travel Diary

It was our first time to be away from home for Christmas and we celebrated it in Florida, where the weather is warm and sunny. We live in Michigan and it’s really cold here around winter time. So if you are dreaming of a winter wonderland Christmas, Michigan is the place to be! My son Lucas said it feels different to have Christmas with no snow but he doesn’t mind at all celebrating it in Florida, most especially when they get to visit Disney World!

My Christmas Tablescape and Easy to Make Christmas Treats

My Christmas table scape and Christmas treats post is obviously over due. As much as I want to get this post out before we went for our Christmas vacation, I never got the chance to get around to do it. I was so busy preparing, planning and getting stuff done before our trip. My ultimate plan while on vacation is to blog while they were sleeping. Obviously, that never happened and every night I was out like a light bulb. So I decided to take the pressure off myself and unplug for the holidays. I just wanted to enjoy the vacation with the family and not worry about my numbers and statistics. It was refreshing and it’s just what I needed. Blogging could get overwhelming at times. I really don’t have time, but I make time for it because I love to blog! I like to share and cultivate that style of creating contents and also the business side of it. Who knows how long I will keep doing this but I am hoping and trying for the best.

Since we are going for a Christmas vacation for the first time, we decided to celebrate Christmas with the family before we leave. We prepared and eat dinner, exchanged gifts, and just enjoying our time together. I always love gatherings!

I went for the traditional theme this year. Red, gold and green for Christmas, you can’t get more festive than that.

I like the style of layering a satin camisole over a sweater. Hello 90’s! I’m glad the trend is back again.

    Easy to Make Christmas Treats

These treats are super duper is easy to make and as always, you can make it with your kids. I love to have my kids involved when I do stuffs like these for the holidays. I want them to remember it as our bonding moment. That’s why I picked easy to do treats, that way It’s less risky to messed up and If we messed up, it’s okay!

I am sharing you how to make it and I hope you will enjoy it too.

Noodles and Company in Macomb Michigan and a Giveaway

    Pad Thai

I was invited to join a food tasting event at newly opened Noodles and Company in Macomb,Michigan. This is my first time to attend a food tasting event. So I was really curious and excited to experience it. Also, to meet other bloggers in the area. It was fun to chit chat with other bloggers at the same time I get to taste different kinds of noodles and pastas. It’s a win, win!

If you haven’t been in Noodles and Company, let me tell you a little bit of their dining set up. When you first walked in, you’ll see a big board with all their menu. Right there, you decide which ones you have a taste for, then you go right up to the counter to order your meal. They will give you a number for your order and then you go get your own drink on their touch screen soda and water fountain. Then you wait for your food and when it’s ready, a waiter will serve it to you. Simple right?

I love the modern and casual vibe of the restaurant.

Now, let’s talk about the food. Noodles and Company serves real and fresh, made to order food just the way you like it. If you want to add or omit anything in your meal, you can totally do so. You can get creative with your meal, the possibilities are endless.

My favorites here are the Spicy Korean beef, Japanese Pan noodles, Pad Thai and Alfredo Mont Amore. It also comes in a big serving bowl to totally hit the spot. The prices are not expensive either they are very reasonable, like for example the Bacon Cheeseburger Mac is only $8.89. Plus, you can order it online too HERE . I don’t think they deliver though but ordering  online is pretty convenient especially when you are in a rush.

Thanksgiving tablescape and Black Friday sales

I am always fascinated with tablescapes, it’s is  so captivating to look at all those gorgeous tablescapes all over Pinterest and it inspires me to create one for Thanksgiving dinner. I decided to combine traditional and rustic style tablescape. I am always drawn to nature inspired table setting, kind of a farm house style. There is something about it that makes you feel homey and cozy. After all, thanksgiving is all about harvest season. So it’s fitting enough to inject a nature inspired tablescape.
