    Pink Blazer for Spring/Summer

*This post is sponsored by Chadwicks of Boston, all thoughts and opinions are mine.

If you’ve been a following me for awhile, you know already that i’m a big fan of monochrome outfits. Dressing head to toe with the same color hue may sound not right for some of you. But really, it’s a great way to elevate your look. It actually look chic and sophisticated. If you are petite like me, it will definitely make you look taller. Styling in monochrome gives the illusion of length. So when i received this blazer from Chadwicks, i am in love. I love the romantic shade of pink that is perfect for spring and summer. Also, blazers are my favorite.

In this look, i decided to style the blazer with a trousers in a different shade of pink. The mismatch yet same color hue makes it look interesting and effortless. Sophisticated low-key suiting.

I’m already thinking of more style ideas that would go with this blazer. I’m thinking jeans for casual on the go days and jean shorts for summer. Also great with dresses as well. The possibilities are endless with this pink blazer.

Thank you so much for reading and have a great day!

But let me just tell you a little story about my childhood, since i’m talking about the 90’s. My mom and aunts are my greatest influence in fashion. At six years old, i remember i enjoyed shopping with them. I enjoyed listening to their fashion and beauty talks. I enjoyed when they put make up on me.When most kids at that age get bored doing that, i wasn’t.

    Satin Off-the-Shoulder Top

top : Nordstrom / choker necklace: Nordstrom / bag: Prada / shoes : Karl Lagerfeld / jeans : Levi’s ( old, i diy the cut off style)

If you have been following my blog, you know that I am obsessed with off- the-shoulder and cold- shoulder outfits this spring and summer season. I started obsessing about them last summer, but it became more and more popular this season coming up. Some of them came with ruffle designs, lace-up collar designs and some with wide flared sleeves. It’s definitely a 90’s fashion revival. This one that i am wearing right now is from Nordstrom. The material is satin, that’s why it’s kinda shiny on the pictures and it’s also very roomy around the bodice. For your reference, I am wearing an XS. They kinda run big on sizing. So, get a smaller size.
