Transitioning Skincare Routine for Fall Using K Beauty

This post is sponsored by iHerb, all thoughts and opinions are mine.

Fall weather is finally here ! That means chilly weather, pumpkin spice, holidays and let’s not forget, time to transition our skincare routine. I’ve always been curious about the Korean skincare routine and products also known as K beauty. I’ve heard a lot of amazing results about it. Actually, i’ve been using some K beauty products  and i love the results on me. I always wanted that “glass skin” in other words for clear, poreless and dewy skin. That’s the main goal of this Korean skincare routine and i’m curious to try. I’m going to break it down for you step by step. Now there are various and different versions of step by step K beauty skincare regimen. Most common are the 10 steps k beauty skincare. I’m going to share  7 steps that i follow daily. You might say i’m cutting corners, well kind of but not really because i include very important ultimate skincare products that has to be included daily and it also saves you time. But the foundation of k beauty skincare regimen is there.

First, i purchased all these K beauty products at iHerb. They have tons of products not just K beauty. They have over 7,000 bath and beauty products that can be shipped to over 150 countries. Their Customer Service team also provides support in 10 languages. It was an easy check out when i ordered these products and it arrived on time in  great condition. Now, let’s do this!

Step 1 :  Cleanse and Exfoliate

I’m using Cosrx Low pH Good Morning Gel Cleanser for cleansing and Etude House My Beauty Tool Exfoliating Jellyfish Silicon Brush for exfoliating.

First, i wet my face and then put a small amount of cleanser on my exfoliating brush. I gently massage it on my face in circles using the brush. I love the fresh and minty feeling when i massage my face, it feels so refreshing and thoroughly cleansed.

Step 2 : Toner

I’m using Cosrx AHA/BHA Clarifying Treatment Toner. Before, I used to take for granted on using toner for the face. Let me stress out that you shouldn’t skip this step. The benefits of toners are : it shrink your pores, restores ph balance, refresh and extra cleanse your skin ( very beneficial if you are suffering from acne ).

Spray the toner on a cotton pad and gently wipe on to the face.

Step 3 : Essence

I’m using Missha Time Revolution, The First Treatment Essence, Intensive Moist. You might be wondering, what is a facial essence ? By a glance it may look like a toner but it’s not, a toner is ending the cleansing process. An essence is a hydrating layer that properly primes your skin to better absorb your serum and moisturizer. It instantly balance the skin after cleansing and toning, adding hydration and priming the skin. They might look similar but they have different purpose and different ingredients. To use an essence pour a little bit on the palm of your hand and press it on your skin until the liquid is fully absorbed.

This Missha Time Revolution essence is so popular among essences and also very affordable. This is a must, this is the one that gives you that natural dewy skin.

Step 4 : Serum

I’m using Dear,Klairs , Freshly Juiced Vitamin Drop. I think this is going to be my favorite serum so far just yet.  As most of us know Vitamin C is one of the best anti-aging ingredients in the market and maintains a glowy, even and brightening of the skin. It evens out hyperpigmentation. If you have acne and acne scars, vitamin C serum is the way to go. I notice less pigmentation now since using Vitamin C serum ! Don’t ever skip this step.

I used 2 or sometimes 3 drops of the serum and gently massage it thoroughly on my face.

Step 5 : Eye Cream

I use Mizon Collagen Power Firming Eye Cream. I love this eye cream because it has Collagen in it. What is Collagen by the way ? It is a protein that is present in our skin and organs in our body that has matrix to sustains body’s structure like firmness and elasticity. If you lack collagen that’s when you get wrinkles. We lost collagen as we age, so it’s always good to supplement.

Step 6: Moisturizer

I use Mizon Collagen Power Lifting Cream. I love this moisturizer. Aside that it contains collagen, i like it that it’s a gel cream and it’s not heavy on the face at all. It leaves your skin refreshed and moisturized.

Step 7 : BB Cream for Daytime only

If i don’t wear foundation that day, this is what i wear on a regular day – Missha  Perfect Cover BB Cream, No. 27 Honey Beige. It has spf 42 and i’m using no.27 . I like this shade because it blends well with my skin tone. I am tan with yellow undertone. This bb cream is like a second skin and have great benefits, it provides hydration as compared to regular foundation. The coverage is just light but that’s what i need for day to day. I highly recommend this for daily use especially when you are on a rush or you just want that barely there make-up look.

So there you go, my daily skincare routine this fall or might be an all year round. I apply all of these day and night except the BB cream.  I just started this K beauty regimen and i’m loving it so far. No weird pimples or bumps coming out and my skin feel so refreshed.
