What’s the best of fall ? Aside from Halloween, Thanksgiving and a trip to the pumpkin patch, it’s the fashion. The layering, the sweater weather,  the autumn colors  and let’s not forget, the pumpkin spice latte. I just love fall. That’s the best thing about living in the Midwest, you get to experience all four seasons. Your lifestyle, way of dressing and family dynamics changes four times in a year yet we do the same practices annually. It’s never boring. Although we don’t live near the big city, there is always something to do in the country suburbs. First of all, we believe it’s the best place to raise our kids. It’s not as busy as compared to living in the city. Although, deep inside i’m more of a city girl than a country girl. I prefer to have and to raise a family from where i’m at now. It’s okay if i don’t get to shop at Barney’s, you can shop online anyway and it’s also kind of a good thing because it’s not good for the wallet. Atleast, when you shop online you have that control as compared to shopping in person you can get impulsive sometimes. As for family activities, there is always something to do around here, you  just have to be creative.

Now let’s talk about this bell sleeves sweater , you know it’s all about statement sleeves this year. Actually, it started last year but it just got more and more popular this year. It’s a good design and a touch of detail to a regular classic sweater. I love that it’s a little bit loose and have that bohemian chic vibe.  What’s not to love when you color coordinate with your mini. Terracotta and mustard yellow, we matched the colors of  fall leaves and the tassels of Olivia’s sweater is the perfect touch.

What do you think of our mommy and me look today and what’s your favorite fall trend this year?
